Maintaining your filters is very important for the optimum functioning of your vacuum. To reduce the risk of overheating it is recommended to clean the filters every time the dirt bin is full and to replace them every 3-6 months.  If you have pets more frequent cleaning and replacement may be advisable.

Remember to take extra care when using your BISSELL on very thick carpet to minimise the risk of surface or carpet damage and adjust the floorhead setting to an appropriate height for your carpet to prevent unnecessary strain on the brush roll and its belts.  Refer to troubleshooting tips in the User Manual if the belt is broken, or if the brush doesn’t spin.

Limited Two Year Warranty

Subject to these conditions, BISSELL will repair or replace (with new or re manufactured components or products), at BISSELL’s option, free of charge from the date of purchase by the original purchaser, for two years any defective or malfunctioning part due to manufacturer defect. This warranty applies to a product used for personal purposes, and not commercial or rental service. This warranty does not apply to fans or routine maintenance or consumable components such as filters, belts, brush rolls, etc., damage or malfunction caused by negligence, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair, or any other use not in accordance with the user’s guide. BISSELL recommends that the original packaging is kept for the duration of the warranty period in case such need arises within the warranty period that the item needs re-packing and transportation.

Not bad for Second Hand

I bought mine second hand from Cash Converters. It was missing the crevice tool, the dust brush and the extension wand. It did come in the original box, so who knows what happened. I was however able to buy the missing wand from the online Bissell Outlet store for I think an acceptable price.

I bought this primarily because I have thick matted woollen carpet. So having an adjustable foot to handle this is great. It has quite a powerful suction and a large collection bin so you don't have to empty as often as a stick vac. It does lack in the adjustment department so manoeuvring into tight corners is not possible but it is very light and easy to empty and clean the filter. The main thing I would suggest to Bissell would be to include a retractable power cable for future models.

One of the worst I've brought

Cleans the carpet well but blows the dirt/dust out everywhere.

Leaves carpet pet hair free. But causes more cleaning as have to dust everything.

Powerforce Helix 2110F

I have just received my order and found the Powerforce Helix 2110F. Good for the budget conscious, pensioner. Easy to use and assemble. The only thing that the instructions did not tell me was how often to wash and renew the filters. I am assuming very 6 to 8 months.

Best value for money

I just purchased this vacuum and I was amazed. It is strong and does a fantastic job. Highly recommend this vacuum if you are on a budget and can’t afford much. I’m so impressed.
